The Book of Liab is the next evolution of the Dustone sound.
Recorded live in the Dustone studio environment, a conversation between kindred sprits. This music is completely improvisational, from beginning to end.
The sessions start with an alignment of grace and gratitude, without any pre-conceived direction. The music flows like a river, sometimes lazy and warm, other times turbulent and searching.
We have come to understand a common musical language that at its best is pure lightning in a bottle.
This is the first Dustone Cinema record featuring Paul Branin, a heartfelt, soulful guitarist and tenor saxophonist. As you will hear on the first track, which by the way was the first time Paul sat in to say hello, it felt like he had been with us from the beginning.
We hope you enjoy listening to The Book of Liab as much as we enjoyed performing it.
